I am a fast learner, eager for any challenge, importantly a team player. Having worked for the “The second best-selling newspaper” with other media departments in it, I've been exposed to different cultures, a demanding workload and tight deadlines. I am thus able to adapt in any environment easily. I am good with adobe programs for graphic use; my major in my associate degree covered training of these soft-wares and others related. I have good communications skills; having had the role of senior designer for a magazine, I gained the expertise of holding a top and demanding position and even re-designing the look of the entire magazine over the past year. Managing a department has taught me leadership skills, work ethics, to be optimistic in order to motive my team.

I must truly and honestly say that this was one of those jobs that helped me become more independent and strong willed. It was the shortest contract but I carried so much responsibility. Because this was a new company, I had to make sure that all everybody who was on the target market knew about the company product.This Included:
- Analyzing marketing issues and providing both solid strategic advice as well as relevant and pragmatic solutions.
- Implement the advice (marketing plans; marketing strategies...) in a pragmatic and timely manner.
- To carry out interim marketing management assignments.
- To create strong relationships with clients.
- To support business development of Maydon Holdings.
As a Sales Executives, I had to sell my company’s goods and services.
My role was to approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business. I was also responsible for making repeat sales to our existing customers.
Basically I:
- Maintained and developed relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.
- Made accurate, rapid cost calculations, and provided customers with quotations.
- Represented my company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
I must say this was one of the toughest and most demanding jobs ever. I respect people who are in this industry.

Senior Designer : Lapologa Magazine
January 2011- March 2012
As the Senior Designer, I planned, designed, developed, coordinated and produced printed communications for Lapologa Magazine; I established and maintained professional graphic and identified standards and performed related works as required. I took projects from the initial concept stages and coordinated steps through the completion of the projects; created layouts and designed artwork for the magazine, and promotions .
Had a blast working as a Senior Designer at Lapologa Magazine. Lapologa will always be my baby. It made become the hard working, confident lady that I am. Not forgetting DAMN GOOD DESIGNER...!!!
Junior Graphic Designer : The Botswana Gazette Newspaper

Worked as a junior graphic designer for the Botswana Gazette Newspaper. This was a starting point in my carrier.
I started off designing just adverts for the newspaper. It was only later that I started designing the paper.
Proudly and confidently got through this year. If I could, I would do it again.
